BeaconWebTech ("we", "us") builds websites for Kenyan businesses. This page explains what information we collect through this site, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

• Contact form: your name, business name, phone number, and message, when you submit the form on our Contact page.
• Live chat: the messages you send us, along with a randomly generated visitor ID stored in your browser (not your name or any personal identifier) so we can keep replying to the same conversation.

We do not use tracking cookies, third-party ad trackers, or sell any information to anyone.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry — to get back to you about a potential website build, answer a question, or follow up on a conversation you started.

Where it's stored

Your contact form submissions and chat messages are stored in our own database, hosted on Render, and are only accessible to BeaconWebTech through a password-protected admin panel. We don't share this data with any third party, except:

• Zoho Mail — if we ever add email notifications for new enquiries, those pass through Zoho's mail servers to reach our inbox.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as reasonably useful for following up with you, and delete them when they're no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete your information entirely
